i hate 50 cent. he sux and may b the worst rapper of all time. end of story

Well a problem I have with him is how he thinks that just because he got shot 9 times and grew up in the hood it automatically makes him a good rapper. His past 2 (3?) albums have been about EXACTLY the same things: drugs, guns and women. Manly topics, to be sure, but he seems incapable of singing about anything that isn't on those topics...like, PHYSICALLY incapable.

Coupled with the fact that he's been marketed the hell out of, with clothing lines to video games...plus all the "feuds" he's had with like, 1/3 of the rap industry. He's not about music, he's about money...which is why his music is bad.

HOWEVER! It's so easy to bash 50 without talking about some of his positives (boo, hiss! Hammm's stating both sides of a story!). His songs are catchy, his simple and easy to follow rhyme scheme coupled with Dre's kickass beats...he's easy to listen to (if you've got an open mind).

True, but I never said he was a good rapper, did I? I just said that I had to say something good about him, because otherwise it's just a hatchet job and I lose my sense of neutrality and suddenly my points become diluted as their already headed towards a predetermined conclusion about a subject without the cards even being on the table yet (so to speak). That's not to say my last post didn't have a slant to it, because it did, but less so than if I hadn't listed the pros.

he's not a good rapper, but he knows how to sell himself, and he knows what the MTV type crowd, for lack of a better term, are gonna love, he does sort of party rap, it's not hardcore, it's not street, but it sells, he sucks as a rapper, but as an entertainer he's on the right track, if anything, he should give up on trying to appear so tough and just go with money and bitches

he didn't get shot 8 times, maybe three times, how can you bite off this rapper if he can't even rhyme.

Looks like I am not the only one who hates 50. I like a couple of his songs from the first album but after that the rest was stupid, and the whole GGGGGGGGGGGGGG-Unit stuff is annoying, I mean they think there bad and tough and are so gangsta. But I thing 50 cent is a wangsta like in his song he was talking about him self
