Black Metal is actually more brutal. Anybody who disagrees will be stabbed and have their church burnt down!

black metal is more about satanism and shit relating to that.

death metal deals with the most horrible things you can do to another human being... which is why it's the most brutal type of music.

I know a music genre more brutal than death metal... blacken death metal, In Flames is my favorite death metal band.

blackened death metal isn't more brutal...

the most brutal is brutal death metal. listen to songs by skinless before trample the weak, hurdle the dead (that's brutal death metal).

I place the two on par with eachother... 'cause people tend to get pretty hurt when someone dies, whether they killed themselves or were killed. Plus, when you kill someone they aren't hurt (at least for THAT long) because they're dead...can't feel shit when you're dead.

The way you do it was never mentioned, just killing. What Cannibal Corpse is singing about is torturing someone before they die, so torture is brutal (or the way someone dies). That said, the way you kill yourself can be brutal; if a band ever sang about ending their life by "lighting their eyes on fire and strangling themselves in their intestines while tasting wrath as agony consumes them", that would be considered dark and brutal.

yeah, but killing someone that was is more brutal. it's hurting others, or just killing others for self gratification. selfishness adds a shitload to brutalness.
