if think people who own pitbulls should be extra responisble for their dogs, but no reason to ban them.

Not really. A Bob Cat would be slightly smaller than a Pit Bull, even if they are stronger. And a Bob Cat is far less aggressive.

There is no need to prove, it is common knowledge. Not my problem you don't know shit about animals.

Hell, how many times have you heard of a Bob Cat killing someone? Never, because there has never been a case of one killing a human on record.

However, Pit Bulls have killed people, quite a few times in fact.

pitbulls are more dangerous then bobcats on the simple fact that they're more aggressive, but the bobcat has the wild animal factor.

They are only wild IF, and only IF, they are not raised by humans. So raise them with/by humans and you no longer have that wild animal factor.

And PP, I'll see if I can find you a pic.

thanks..now that i see what a Bobcat is
i think this one looks way more gentle than a pitbull
even if they may attack. but i don't think they'll allow them cuz they're wild animals

The thing is, any animal is a wild animal if not raised with/by humans. Dog, house cat, etc.

it's just people have standards to that.

they ain't gonna ban them, it would cause a massive protest, and probably (and hopefully for me) riots.

Pitbulls were bred to be killers like that
its in their nature to attack like they do
my sister once had one and i must say it was dumb as fuck but a nice dog, almost like a lap puppy
there are simple ways to prevent kids from being mauld by dogs
tell them to stay away
and every time they go near one beat the shit out of them for disobeying

You fucktard, the dogs roam in packs and attack random people.

One woman was mowing her lawn, and the pack of pit bulls came and killed her.

Your point fails, please try again.

what point was I trying to make?
i know that they are born killers and that they are good at what they do but all in all they are just another dog
true its possible for one to snap and attacksomeone but gangbangers nowadays bring them up from pups to attack people whereas normal people bring them up to be good dogs and never attack (however there is still a possiblilaty)
and when they attack they got that ratchet like jaw

also when i was younger my golden retreiver attacked me and tore a chunk of my right cheek off why dont we ban them too?

Actually, most people are unable to raise them, and they become killers no matter how you raise them.

It is just as dangerous as me owning, say, a Mountain Lion.

eeehhh, i think your kinda stretching that point PKB. we had a pit bull and she never killed anything. and a mountain loin i'm pretty sure will eat you once it reaches adult hood.

My community is looking to pass a law requiring all 'offensive' dogs to be registered with the city and restrictions. Three complaints and it has to be put down, one attack and it's automatically put down even if the victim doesn't want to put it down.

A secondary proposal to that is to ban pit bulls all together after that law is passed.

-----

This debate should evolve into nature vs. nurture. Can a Mountain Lion be raised to be domesticated? Or will natural instinct take over and lead to maullings?
