Should cloning be legalized?

No. There are so many ethical reasons why not to, and few actually for it.

one, its dangorious
if one virus comes along, and that first clone is killed by it, all the others are dead as well

thus, why we cant clone crops

Well, for starters, humanity playing god. Now I know your opinion on god, but this really has nothing to do with that. It is merely humans playing a role they were not meant to.


But right now I'm a bit too tired to think of the rest...

plus, we lose our genetic mutaion too...ya know...

stem cells arent cloneing...they are just cells that havent taken a job yet, thus, they can turn into ANY cell they would need to be, such as, nerve tissue
or t helper cells (to fight aids)

I don't think it should be legalized.Think of a world where all the things are the same.

I think you are not understanding what clonning would really be. They would all still be extremely different. They would still have different plotical views etc.

Also, war has more to do with resources than anything else.

Because they would each have different experiences in life. This is even true in identical twins, they can be complete opposits from eachother.

Remember, we are born with a... starter kit. We have all the basics needed to form. From then on, it is the experiences we collect that will shape us into the people we will be.

That would be more about Stim Cell research then anything doing with the cloning field.

What if we made a clone of some super hot chick and then hump it until the cows come home? It's just a clone so I see now harm in taking advantage of it (infact I saw something similar when girls cloned their teacher in a scifi movie). I think that the clones would be useful for war (clone troopers in Star Wars).

Read the books of Star Wars. They have huge health issues. They each have individual personalities. And some rebel against the Empire when they are ordered to kill the Jedi.

I just put that under health issues.

But current cloning does have serious health issues. That sheep they cloned, way back when I was in 4th grade, died very young.
