| the desktop on my computer vanishes at random, though usually when i close a window.
the start menu vanishes and the background goes back to the previous one like when i first start the computer or shut it off. i can't right click to bring up the menu and the only way i can open programs is by using task manager...
when i minimize it goes down to a little bar with just the title...kind of like in the older windows stuff...

| Open the Task Manager, and go to Run, type in explorer and click ok, that should reactivate your desktop bar.
I shall look into this more, thank PKB for commenting on my topic to call me back to FH and check things out.
