| I am tired of people bragging about how they are in AP classes. They need to STFU right quick. All they do in AP History is have you memorize dates and facts and bitches think that they are smart. Honestly itz pathetic! People are not even taught today in US schools anymore! All they do is prepare us for tests. Itz ridiculous!
Now onto the troops. Honestly, no one cares about them anymore. All we do is use their dead corpses to add fuel to our own sides argument about the GWOT. We need to STFU and realize how honorable and noble these people are and how their deaths affects their families. But that isn't going to jappen because people are too obsessed with proving that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are bad and how the US military sux. I hope they go jump off a cliff!

| You won't need history lessons, especially dates, when you get a decent job. Except maybe if your job is a teacher, then the cycle goes on. | |

95% of our history books are lies. generally speaking the majority opinion is more important than the truth, it's fairly irrelevant what's true, what matters is what people believe

What is history BUT propaganda? History's for winners, the "truth" doesn't really exist - Desmond wrote:

Of course not, you don't need to know Calculus either (in most jobs) but in high school you learn it anyways. Why? Because long ago people realized the benefits of a well-rounded education, where people could get a taste of what they liked and hated and apply them accordingly. Imagine if we were teaching people based on what their jobs would be in the future...
