No. The personal computer is not a console. Do you see console anywhere in the name of ANY of the computer products?

The console war is between the consoles not the computers... when though... consoles are computers... >_> ...whatever.

pc might have game but a pc competes with other pcs not consoles because a pc can't be easily carryed from house to house and has to h certain things baught for it sometimes to play games consoles pretty much come with everything

actually, ps2 sold more then the xbox in america alone. by 13 million units.

that's a shit load.

of course, the ps3 (even though better harddrive wise) didn't sell as much in america (by a niche) because it's way more expensive. too bad, but Sony has to be greedy (o, big deal it's expensive to make).

And the Xbox 360 is a better console over all. Easier to program for and such, the games are easier to make and tend to have less glitches.

The Xbox was a better system too, for the same reasons and add the hardrive and such.

What won the ps2 the console war was it was launched earlier, had a history and thus already had a large library, and it had the Final Fantasy series and the rest of the Japanese RPG's which the masses love.

The lesson, Hardware ain't everything.

so, ps2 selling more then xbox doesn't mean shit? okay, i get it, you like the xbox more, i really don't see how that changes the numbers.

and ps3 is pretty easy to handle... and the xbox 360 had plenty of glitches, that's why they made the 360 elite.

listen, i'm just stating facts. 360 sold more units then ps3, okay? happy? now, don't try to make a spin that i'm somehow implying that the ps3 coming out 6months later shows why it didn't sell more units. it's cause it's too expensive, and most people aren't willing to pay 200$ more just for better graphics, sound, and internet deal (free).
hell, i'm not, and i love the ps3. and i do believe i did say before that i loved the xbox 360, and really watned it, way before i even tried out the ps3. (rich friends have them...).

it's really a matter of opinion. i'm not saying one's better then the other, all i did was put sales, and you flip out on me.

and ps2's top selling game is GTA SA, which is a multi console game. and i know more people who like Halo then they like that stupid FF shit. i'll admit it, i know more scifi nerds then i know loser nerds, so that's probably why.

but, xbox's top selling game is halo 2, which is only for xbox. so, it can't be game wise.

no one is so much of a loser to buy ps2 just for Final Fantasy (or atleast, not so many). that's like me buying nintendos just for Resident Evil and Mario.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote... The Xbox was a better system, that is a fact. But Like I said, hardware isn't everything. PS2 had a bigger library, so people bought it.
If you doubt that, look up the specs on the two systems.

Also, the Elite is a special promotional thing. Frankly, the only difference is the color and the size of the hard drive. So your theory of them fixing glitches with it goes out the window. It is already out of production I think.

Also, I never said the Xbox 360 console had less glitches, I said the games have less glitches (Take the new Tony Hawk game for instance).

And when the PS2 first came out, FFX was a top seller, a big reason people bought it too.
