| It displays the error code that is normally displayed when one's firewall is blocking one from signing in... but my messenger signed in yesterday just fine, and this morning just logs off and won't log back on. I don't understand, my firewall is off and my virus control programs have not touched MSN in months, I did a system restore but that didn't help, any suggestions? _________________  |

| My bad for the double post, but in my control panel there is nothing to uninstall windows live messenger nor is there any file for it in my program files. _________________ |

| I see what happened, my version of messenger was beta and apparently it did not come with anything to uninstall it so I had to find a program v.v I downloaded messenger 8.1 instead. Used it for two years before I switched. It worked. _________________ |
