Solve The Puzzle; If You Get It Right, You Get To Post The Next One.

A Young Woman Was Invited To A Party By A Co-Worker She Didn't Like. She Decided To Be Polite And Come By For A Few Minutes, Rather Than Make Things Worse With Her Co-Worker By Rudely Refusing, Even Though She'd Been Planning To Enjoy The Recent Hot Weather By Going To The Beach That Day.

She Went To The Party, Greeted Her Forcedly-Friendly Co-Worker And Other Friends From Work, Quickly Drank A Cup Of Punch, And Then Headed Off To The Beach With Her Social Obligations Met.

The Next Day, A Story In The Paper Said That Everyone Who Had Attended The Party Had Mysteriously Died By Drinking Poisoned Punch, But The Young Lady Was Completely Fine.

Why?

(Bonus Points If You Figure Out The Question And Provide Extra Information On The Un-Related Possibility)

The Poison Was In The Ice-Cubes. She Drank The Punch Quickly Before The Ice Could Melt.

I know it's not the answer but...

When you stare at the sun, even with your eyes closed, the burns on your nerves (can't remember thet friggin word in english) are still transmitted to your brain wheter they are open or not, wich means a blind person would be able to "see" those things, also these burns follows wherever you look at, so without "taking" you move them away

That's a trick question, another perfectly acceptable explanation is that she, herself, poisoned the punch as she got her own glass. Razz
