you watch anime, play FF, and other rpgs... i guess you just mean that particular nerd fest. i do notice that when it comes to Star Wars, LOTR, and Matrix, I am a little nerdy.

Really, the detailed story archs, many speaking on complex psychological, philiosophical, and political issues.

Examples:
Ghost In The Shell: Terrorism
Eva: One's place in the world/effect on those around you
BERSERK: Defying fate.

ghost in the shell to me is just boring. and the dialogue is lame.

eva and beserk, just by the description you gave it, shows how gay it is.

a girl i know forces me to watch animes in subs with her. i've seen a few episodes, i'll admit, i did like the extreme gore shit, but when ever i heard them talk, i fuckin' hated it.

couldn't sit through all 25 episodes...

like, neon genesis, holy shit, i tried, i really did, but i couldn't stand how gay it was. the little bitch (boy) fuckin' bitches about his life, and cries and shit. god damn. and the other eva shit... god damn it, these people sound like fags... shit.

And, you miss the underlying points of the shows...

so, it's okay for most of the show to suck, as long as i watch the end... no, not worth it. it has to be more interesting. the only part that got me through like half of the whole thing was the guts... that's it. i hated the dialogue, i always do. but it's not like a videogame where i can skip right to the violence and it still makes sense... nope, gotta listen to these assholes talk about shit that i don't care about.

it's lame in a different way.
1. the dialogue is more realistic and not as lame
2. deals with dark age and middle age environment (as a black metal lover and viking metal lover, it just comes to me as really cool)
3. they don't do the gay crap that you see in anime
4. it's an epic trilogy. Star Wars and Matrix really fall into the same lines. Star Wars more nerdy, Matrix on the cooler level.

You think the dialogue in LOTR wasn't gay? That shit was extremely cheesy.

it was poetic when it was cheesy. when anime has gay dialogue (which is all the time) it's jjust gay. no poetic shit, just them thinking or talking spewing out some shit that makes me wanna kick the shit out of them.

although, Star Wars and Matrix, once again, had the same type of stuff as LOTR. Star Wars had the sci-fi and drama gay crap, and Matrix had the whole "something=nothing" and so on gay crap. but atleast it was poetic and interesting. anime is just plainly gay.

And I disagree, anime is very poetic. The whole philosphical message I mentioned, yeah, poetic.

While LOTR has no deeper message, the writing is poor, and is just so damn gay... like that elf what's his face.

The Matrix was based off an old philisophical story about conciousnus(misspelled it, don't care).

actually, no. anime just rips off real movies and shows, and just adds a bunch of gay dialogue. and like i said, at least Star Wars, LOTR, and Matrix was interesting. They didn't make me reach a point of vomiting.

so, you can be an anime freak, obviously this is a forum filled with anime freaks (the only other place would be conventions). but i won't. now, i like those epic trilogies. not so much that i really get into them, or else i'd just be as low as the nerds (anime or epic trilogies).

so, yes, it is a matter of opinion. you love anime, i hate it. i think LOTR was pretty cool, you didn't like it. w/e. how can we convince eachother to like something? impossible i'd say.

anyway, i deleted a huge paragraph just now cause it was something too mean about people who love anime. i keep on forgetting that i'm on a forum, the nerd paradise.
